Sunshine Senior Tour
The Endangered Wildlife Trust and the Sunshine Senior Tour have collaborated to create a series of events for the benefit of the environment by raising awareness for our wildlife and the danger they are in. This series, dubbed “The EWT Senior Golf Series” will directly raise funds for the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
The Series will be split into 3 Major and 7 Standard Events, structured as:
The Majors
- SA Senior Masters in honour of the Rhino,
- SA Senior Open in honour of the Humpback Dolphin and
- PGA Senior Championship in honour of the Elephant.
Standard Events
- Blue Crane Senior Cup,
- Bateleur Eagle Senior Trophy,
- Wild Dog Senior Classic,
- Amathole Toad Senior Bowl,
- Cheetah Senior Shield,
- Lion Senior Plate and
- Cape Vulture Senior Goblet.

SA Senior Open
The SA Senior Open has established itself as the premier event on the new Sunshine Senior Tour. As the only annual senior professional golf event along the beautiful Garden Route stretch, the SA Senior Open offers a unique opportunity for corporates and individuals to experience tournament golf.
The 4 Day event will start with a unique 2-day Pro-Am, with the scores of the professionals counting towards their final score.
Entries are now open for the SA Senior Open Pro-Am.
